InternshipConnect is a European transnational cooperation project developed under the Erasmus+ programme, aiming to improve the transition from education and training to employment. The project focuses on enhancing the quality, accessibility, and effectiveness of internships as a key pathway into the labour market.
The initiative responds to a critical gap between education systems and employment opportunities by introducing innovative support structures and bridging mechanisms. Through a structured and collaborative approach, InternshipConnect seeks to make professional immersions more secure, inclusive, and impactful for participants.
The project’s core objective is to design and implement a comprehensive “bridging model” that supports learners before, during, and after internships. This model strengthens employability skills, facilitates smoother integration into the workforce, and improves coordination between educational institutions, employers, and support organisations.
By fostering cooperation across multiple European countries, InternshipConnect promotes the exchange of best practices and the development of sustainable solutions that align with evolving labour market needs. Ultimately, the project contributes to building a more resilient, skilled, and employable workforce across Europe.
