We are excited to share with you some insights from our Erasmus+ funded project “Providing relevant job skills through VET learning – Fornire competenze professionali attraverso l’apprendimento IFP”, project No. 2021-1-IT01-KA122-VET-000017760 .

In September 2022, the VET learners at ITALIAN HOSPITALITY SCHOOL had a great opportunity to explore Riga, Latvia. Thanks to our partner HOTEL SCHOOL Hotel Management College, intensive training program and placement of VET Learners was provided.

Erasmus+ international mobility helped our VET learners to obtain international experience, by traveling and working in different countries, meeting with diverse cultures and nationalities.

More than ever, VET learners must be trained to work with partners across cultural and national borders.

Intercultural communication competences were improved by organizing cultural evenings at the end of the mobility. On international culinary day, VET leaners from different countries were asked to cook their national dishes and to make small presentations of their country of origin, which was the great way to share their own experience and to spread information about the Erasmus+ project.
