This summer we hosted for the first time students from MunicĂpio de Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal who dived deep into the rich art and culture of Rome which was fully funded by Erasmus. This initiative not only allowed them to explore the stunning historical landmarks and vibrant artistic heritage of the city but also emphasized the importance of sustainable development goals (SDGs) in shaping a better future.
During their time in Rome, these students were engaged in interactive workshops that focused on the SDGs, discussing how art and culture can play a pivotal role in promoting sustainability and social inclusion. They also delved into the workings of the European Union and its impact on human rights, and explored how these frameworks support cultural exchange and foster a sense of community among diverse nations.
To make this experience even more engaging, students participated in outside class activity, where they shared their insights and perspectives on how art can bridge cultural gaps and promote understanding. This journey was not just about learning; it was about creating connections and inspiring change for a more equitable and sustainable world.
