On May 8, 2025, within the framework of the CB-VET Plus Erasmus+ Project (Project No. 101129249), a Round Table Discussion was held under the theme: “Integrating Sustainable Use of Raw Materials into VET: Skills Development for a Circular Economy.”
The event, hosted by the Italian Hospitality School, brought together contributions from key partner institutions, including Volyn Professional College NUFT, Don Bosco Youth Educational Center, and HOTEL SCHOOL Hotel Management College.
Each participating country presented real-world case studies showcasing how their institutions are embedding the sustainable use of raw materials into vocational education and training (VET). From innovations in culinary arts to green hospitality practices and digital simulations in tourism education, the session highlighted diverse approaches that modernize VET and align it with the goals of a circular economy.
The discussion concluded with a reflection session, underlining the importance of professional development, curriculum transformation, and international collaboration in equipping both educators and learners with the green and digital skills necessary for a sustainable future.
We are proud to contribute to a project that not only fosters internationalisation and capacity building but also drives forward-thinking change in education across Europe.
